My name is David Lundgren, and I am a professional golfer. I am from Ängelholm, live in Helsingborg, Sweden, and represent Ängelholm Golf Club.

As an amateur I played for the Swedish national team, winning bronze at the 2019 European Boys' Team Championship and silver at the 2022 European Amateur Team Championship. That year I also represented Europe in the St Andrews Trophy and played the Hero Open on the DP World Tour. As an amateur I also won three silver medals and one bronze in the Swedish Men's Team Championship and had eight top-10 finishes, including one win, in international amateur championships.

I chose not to go to college in the US. Instead I built my own setup at home, focused on training, data and long-term development. I turned professional in September 2024.

In 2026 I won my first Nordic Golf League title and finished the season top of the rankings with six second places and a new points record for the tour. That earned me a place on the HotelPlanner Tour in 2027. In August I also finished tied second at the Dormy Open on the HotelPlanner Tour, two shots behind the winner.
